Welcome to the 2021-2022 parking season!
As you may know, the parking season runs from August 1, 2021 - July 31, 2022. Your vehicle license plate will serve as your parking permit. The price for an SFH (Student Family Housing) permit is $461 per year payable to UNC Transportation and Parking.
To request authorization to purchase a PRIMARY SFH permit from Parking Services, you will need to first complete the Primary Parking Registration Form. This form is available here, and will be available starting on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 9 am.
Primary Parking Applicants:
Roommates: Please decide who will receive the primary parking permit for your apartment. Once decided, the applicant will need to complete the “Baity Hill Primary Registration Form” via the Baity Hill website. You will also need to email [email protected] and copy your roommate on the email stating that you are in agreement on who will be authorized to purchase the primary permit.
Families: Please complete the “Baity Hill Primary Registration Form” via the Baity Hill website.
Hardship Parking Applicants:
We will begin accepting applications for hardship parking on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 9 am. Please visit the Baity Hill website and complete the “Baity Hill Hardship Parking Permit Form”. If you have applied for hardship parking before July 12, 2021, your application will not be considered. We will have results available by July 28, 2021.
Please remember to pull forward into parking spaces so that your license plate is visible to passing DPS (Department of Public Safety) vehicles. Please be advised that your parking permit is only valid for the building assigned. Parking in any of the sign-designated parking areas; such as metered parking and service permit spaces, is not allowed and subject to a citation issued by DPS.
Once your parking information has been collected and processed, you will receive an email from Transportation and Parking with a link to purchase your permit. You must provide valid vehicle registration and proof of insurance to purchase your permit. Parking Services does not offer permits for multiple locations on-campus.
